"The Anime of Ani-Mii"

“The Anime of Ani-Mii” is the story of a japanese high school girl named Ani (pronounced Annie) Unfortunately portraying me, but at the same time, appearing animated as Ani. Hence her name being ‘Ani-Mii’...

She is a sleepless bipolar fe-male (a clever combination of a lesbian with insomnia living inside a heterosexual she-male with the characteristics of a female) disguised as what they believe her to be… A ‘Hermaphrodite’.

Confused by her intersexuality, and tired of the continuous bullying, she seeks to be seen from a genderless perspective…
One morning, she goes to school more earlier than normal, to address the mis-guided society (class) into an understanding of humankind by writing on the chalk board before the teacher even arrives…

Reflecting upon a past time in her life, she faces her present, in a battle to finds herself. She simply requests someone to pull her out from the inside.
She is lost between two worlds with a determined desire to return to who she is and who she knows, and the only person she appears to be familiar with.

A place in time before the now in which she feels caged, enclosed in emotion with no nearby outlet to pour into or to reassign.

She redesigns her outer body appearance completely.
I think she is impersonating someone else’s smile.
Her eyes are not the one’s I once fell in love with…
And why is she hiding a facial expression that doesn’t belong to her?
You will not recognise this face she is wearing.
This face is no mask however.
But it’s also not her…
She is unable to remove this person from herself.
And I don’t know how to help…

Behind The Mask Of...

A figment of the imagination.

Something apparently seen, heard, or sensed, but having no physical reality.

A ghost in a puppet.

A ghostly apparition co-existing in one’s existence.

Or simply an optical illusion.

She is what, who you believe her to be.

But she prefers to be… The Masked Phantom.

Her identity shadows behind a mask, and lives in the shadow of the past of those who ask.

Those who question his femininity, are the reason she has developed social anxiety.

So she likes to keep her identity intact.

Infact… by doing so, she hides behind a mask.

To avoid her inner and outer appearance from being attacked.

But one night, she removes her mask...

Only to reveal more masks...
